Diptych

The models I used was Mr. Rotella and Joshua Cammack. I liquify both of them and I made Josh look smaller and I made Rotella look strong and big. Josh is trying to pull Mr. Rotella but he wasn't able to and he fell to the ground.

Diptych

My model is Joshua Cammack. I really like this picture because it doesn't look photo shopped. I feel like I could of tired to make his body even with his muscles. Liquifing his muscles really made the story pop out more. Its basically a before and after picture. The first picture is him working out than the after picture is his results from working out so "hard". I made him change into a tank top so it made him look like he was really working out. I got a weight from the weight room to really get the effect of him struggling while lifting a weight.

2. It describes that I am a pediatric surgeon
3. Its suppose to be a formal business card. The Card looks mature and straight to the point.

Become someone Else

Surrealism Photo

My Surrealism photo theme is Memory. I took a picture of someone eye and made it the color my eyes. I took my hands and made it hold my eye cause so it seems like I am holding on to the memory. I made the everything black and white beside the eye so the eye is the main focus point. Then I took a picture of a memory I love to make it seem like I was there and I was looking at the picture getting taken.

Surrealistic Theme

For my surreal photo montage I would like to do a memory. I really like the ideas of using your eyes up close. I think that's a really creative idea. So in order to make this photo I am going to try to get a really close clear picture of my eye. Than take a photo that I took years ago of a memory that I would want to relive and put it in my eye ball. So its going to look like I am looking at my favorite memory.

Surrealistic Artists

Francis Picabia was born in 1879 in France. Picabia began his artistic apprenticeship at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in 1895 where he studied under Corman, Humbert, and Wallet. In the 1910s, Picabia shared the interests of a number of artists who emerged in the wake of Cubism, and who were inspired less by the movement's preoccupation with problems of representation than by the way the style could evoke qualities of the modern, urban, and mechanistic world. He began to use text in his pictures and collages and to create more explicitly disgraceful images attacking conventional notions of morality, religion, and law. Figurative imagery was central to Picabia's work from the mid-1920s to the mid-1940s, when he was inspired by Spanish subjects, Romanesque and Renaissance sources. Initially he united many of these disparate motifs in the Transparency pictures complexly layering them and piling them on top of each other to exaggerate confusion and strange associations. Some critics have described the Transparencies as occult visions, or Surrealist dream images, and although Picabia rejected any association with the Surrealists, he steadfastly refused to explain their content. Picabia always handled these motifs with the same playful and anarchic spirit that had animated his Dada work.

Florence Henri was born in 1893 in New York. Henri began her artistic career as an abstract painter but, upon studying at the Bauhaus in Germany, turned to photography as what she perceived as the medium of the future. She than settled in Paris in 1924, where she played with mirrors and light, to create these beautiful mind- trick masterworks. She used mirrors as a way to add more perspectives to her imagery. She made her name as a major player in avant-garde photography.  In 1929, just two years after leaving the Bauhaus, Henri’s Paris portrait studio became as well-known as that of Man Ray. She taught classes, and her students included future luminaries such as Gisele Freund and Lisette Model. Her use of collage is original; it differs from that of the Surrealists, because for her it is not about creating a link with the unconscious, but about organizing in different patterns the reality that she photographs with her camera.

Artist's Name : Francis Picabia
Title:  Hera
Date: 1929

Description:  Different Faces added in different areas, along with flowers. The values of both are similar. A lot of transparency happening. You can see like 5 different faces and a couple of different hands. You can see everything that’s going on the picture, there is not just one focus point.

Analysis:  The faces take up most of the photo, which is the main focus point of the photo. A lot of the faces are transparency so there is a bunch of faces on top of each other. The lighting is what emphasizes the main point of the picture. The flowers really go along with the photo too. It’s not a boring picture at all it has your mind going at all times

Interpretation:  I find this piece to be really deep. You really have to look deep into the picture so find something else that you didn't notice. When I first looked at the picture I noticed the faces right away and then I saw the flowers. But, I had to keep looking at the picture to actually see the hands in the photo.

Judgement:  I enjoy this piece for how busy the picture is and how deep you actually have to look into it to see the actual picture. There is not a place where my eyes don’t stop and you’re not always focus on just one thing in the photo. One thing I do think they should do is actually kind of tell the meaning of the photo, there is anything I really know about the photo.

Artist's Name: Florence Henri
Title: Composition with still life
Date: 1931

Description:  3 roses one white and one black. with a dark shadow blocking where the rose and then stem connects. Black and white effect.

Analysis:  I think this photo should emotion.  It’s dark and sad and could just make you cry.I feel she made this photo when something horrible happened her life and she put black roses to show the sign of death. Then I think the bright rose shows the love for the person to show that it just wasn’t just a sad moment.

Interpretation:  I find this piece to be really interesting but also dull because of the colors. But the black and white really makes the picture.  This picture is really emotional it seems, it makes you depressed because of the black flowers.

Judgement:  I really enjoy this picture because it different than other photos. I like how you see the end of the stems on one side and then you see the flowers on the other side. I feel the black and white effect really makes the photo better. Also the way the black roses look is interesting

Hockney Photos

My Model is Ms. Remotti. I started off by taking a bunch of pictures and the pick the best ones  that would work for the picture. I even cropped some of the pictures so they worked better and then I added shadows to make some of they layers really pop out. I am pretty happy with the picture I think it really worked out for me. One thing I could of changed was try to match all the skin tones up

This picture is of a very unique tree I have in front of my house.  I took so many pictures of it and used the ones that I think was the best. Some of the pictures were darker than other because of where I was position when I took the picture, so I used the curves to make some of the pictures match the others. Than I used a shadow on some of the pictures to make them pop out more. I am really happy with this picture I think it came out pretty good but, I could of edited a little bit more like add a shadow to the layer on the bottom left corner

Camera Awesome App

Camera Awesome

Camera awesome in an app that allows taking picture in thirds, trisec golden, and square. You can put different kind of filters on it and many more . They have FX effects which are called more wang,  hoth, goddess, blue pill. The fx basically just changes the background of the photo. Than they have regular filters like chrome, black & white, slide, sepia, and more. The app also allows you to but frames on pictures. Camera awesome is not a really good app to use for photography

I don’t like camera awesome because there is so many ways to put filters on pictures but there not good filters. There not filters that you would use for professional pics. There silly and makes the picture look really bad. Don’t get me wrong it’s a really good app for kids to have fun with and play around on but, it’s not good if you’re trying to get great pictures

Camera awesome has some pros to it. Not all camera apps let you take picture in thirds, golden, and trisec.  It lets you chose different composition which is really good. It has a timer, image stabilization, and also allows you to use a flash light instead of just flash which is nice. Instead of ruining pictures with flash you could but natural light to it.

Camera awesome wouldn’t be an app that I would suggest to people that are trying to take really good pictures. It’s honestly just an app to have fun with and mess around with pictures. There are better apps out that that you can use instead of camera awesome
Some of the FX effects which makes the pictures look really bad.

I'll Rather Be

I would rather be next to Luke Bryan <3. To make this picture I took a picture of him with a girl and I cut her out and put a picture of my at a formal event. I used Curves to brighten up skin tones. I erased everything around me to make it look like I was touching his chest.

PARTNER PORTRAITURE

To start off this photo I took a picture of me trying to lift something above my head. Than I had my model lay on stools and I took a picture. I copy and pasted him to make him look like I am lifting him. Than I got a picture of a gym and pasted both of us in a gym. I also made us look like we were in the mirror Than to edit it I uses curves to change the color of my skin tone. I used the eraser toll to put my thumbs out to look like I am grabbing him.

Portrait Series

My model in these photos is Tatiana, it really shows her personality. These pictures show how outgoing she is. How I made the photos look better is I put black and white on color and it made the light brighter and it reflects simplicity . I also adjusted the exposure and it made some of the picture brighter which really made the picture pop. In the 4 photos each picture has snow which shows that it is the main focus point of all of the pictures.
